The Kanata Rockeries is a collection of unique homes, located in Kanata. Our values include preserving the natural character of this small piece of the original Kanata community that was envisioned by Bill Teron.

What is a VLC?

The layout of the lands may resemble a subdivision but there are common elements that do not belong to the municipality. Here the common elements are the two small parks, the street, the street lights and two storm water ponds. The consominium must maintain each of these. Owners maintian their own properties and driveways. The declaration sets out the permitted use (single family home) as well as design approval for new building and changes to buildings including landscaping plans. The board of directors is also required to consult with neighbours within the condominium before approving designs.
